Excellent wash ability
The Industriguard product is guaranteed to withstand up to 50 machine washings and has achieved up to 100 washings under controlled testing. This is insured by our unique process that chemically binds the flame retardant chemical to the cellulose.
Colorfast
Industriguard holds its color better than many of the other FR products available. This is due to the fact that we treat the fabric before dying. Most other processes dye the fabric first and then apply the FR treatment, which can alter the color.
Tear Strength
As a result of the standard FR process, tear strength is usually reduced by 25% or more. The tear strength of the Industriguard process can be controlled within 8% to 15%. This offers the customer a distinct advantage in the durability of the product in the workplace.
Low Formaldehyde Content
The current standards require a garment to contain no more than 70 ppm free formaldehyde content. The Industriguard product contains less than 20 ppm.
Due to our specialized FR process the Industriguard garments provide the best in FR safety and protection which also retains the natural soft feel of cotton.
